I would like to begin this by explaining the purpose and reasoning behind this endeavor.
Unlike the typical research books from The Norroena Society, this book aims to clarify the extensive works accumulated over many years of study, debates, and philosophical discussions among members of The Norroena Society and the broader Heathen community.
The purpose of this work is to provide an understanding of Sedianism through a theological and philosophical lens.
We will explore concepts that may differ from popular interpretations and understandings, which will be elaborated upon in the Epic Method section, where I will explain the different schools of thought found in academia.
My aim in this book is to explain the core ideas of Traditional Heathenry, which we call Sedianism, in a way that newer readers can follow without needing to work through all the underlying research.
Those who want to examine the evidence for themselves can consult the sources mentioned throughout these chapters. As with any serious study, our understanding grows as we continue to read, compare, and discuss the material. What you will find here is my current understanding of these topics as I continue to study the ancient Germanic world.
